Warren Stacey - Warren Stacey [Unreleased, 2002]

Partial collection of songs taken from British R&B artist Warren Stacey's shelved self-titled debut album (2002).

The effort was preceded by the U.K. hit single "My Girl, My Girl", which notably secured a music video alongside a live rendition broadcasted on the overseas programming "Top of the Pops". Additionally, the single attained productional support from Angie Stone's and Nicole Wray's producer Harold Lily as well as Mary Mary beatmaker Warryn Campbell.

Despite A-list production and strong favorable reception from critics (praising "My Girl" as a similar sound to contemporary Craig David), Warren's self-titled project was shelved. It remains unclear if it went unreleased due to internal business conflicts at his label, or expectations fell short due to "My Girl" failing to successfully impact other countries (potentially seeking to target the states). Nonetheless, here's an imagined track-listing for this lost emblem:

1.) Scared

2.) Ayo

3.) Alright, Alright

4.) Hot 4 U

5.) Falling for a Stranger

6.) My Girl, My Girl

7.) Somebody Else
