Unplugged/Official - Tellin' Our Story [Unreleased, 2001]

Check out a collection of songs by Cash Money Records’ first R&B group Official (formerly known as Unplugged) with their scrapped debut “Tellin’ Our Story” (2001). The unreleased project was due to boast guest contributions from fellow labelmates Christina and Lil Wayne, alongside west coast R&B musician TQ. The album was led by two singles; the first being the Lil Wayne-featured “I Don’t Know”; the follow-up “Anything You Want” (also featuring Weezy) was given the full fledged single treatment with a nationwide CD/vinyl/radio release and an intriguing music video. While it’s unclear why the effort suffered the shelving curse, it is presumed like so may lost urban music treasures of the yesteryears that it was an aftereffect of lackluster single chart performance.
